PSYCHOEDUCATION

When emotional outbursts, routines or conflicts become overwhelming, a professional perspective can help you understand what’s happening and find strategies that fit your family’s needs.

You’ve tried everything.
What if we looked at
things differently?

Let’s talk about what you’re going through.

When emotions take over.

Are emotional outbursts happening again and again, leaving you unsure how to help ?

Understand what triggers your child’s reactions and learn how to respond when emotions overflow. Strategies tailored to your child can help you feel more confident and bring calmer moments back to family life.

When routines often lead to conflict.

Getting dressed, leaving for child care or going to bed: do some routines involve constant negotiation, resistance or frustration ?

Together, we explore what makes these moments difficult, adjust your approach and introduce practical supports that gradually encourage your child’s participation and independence.

Saying goodbye isn’t always easy.

Does your child have difficulty separating from you ?

Goodbyes bring tears, your child clings to you, refuses to stay alone in a room or struggles to fall asleep without you nearby. You wonder how to make these moments easier.

Drawing on attachment principles, we explore what contributes to your child’s insecurity and help strengthen their sense of safety. The goal is to gradually help them feel more confident and independent during separations.

When challenges take up more and more space at child care or school.

Do difficulties happen mainly at child care or school ?

Does your child have conflicts with others, react strongly to certain situations, struggle to follow instructions or have difficulty finding their place in the group? You want to better understand what’s happening in their daily life.

Working with you and your child’s educators or school team, we help your child develop the skills they need to navigate their emotions, connect with others and find their place in the group.

What is psychoeducation ?

Psychoeducation explores how people adapt to the situations they encounter at every stage of life. It helps us better understand their emotions, behaviours and relationships while considering their strengths, difficulties and environment.

A psychoeducator helps people develop their skills and works with them to find practical ways to handle everyday challenges. They can also support those around them to promote their well-being and independence.
